Myles Mclaughlin Goes Supernova in Knox Win
Starting off the list is Knox's Myles Mclaughlin, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Mclaughlin rushed for 286 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 13.0 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 70-yard run.
The victory (which was Knox's fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2. Mclaughlin and Knox will head out on the road to challenge Bremen at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

On Friday, Tippecanoe Valley got the W thanks in part to Brock Derf playing the best football he has all season. Derf rushed for 118 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
This year, Derf has run in 5 touchdowns while averaging 48.7 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had one rushing touchdown.
