Basketball Game Preview: Pinecrest Academy Paladins vs. Harvester Christian Academy Hawks

The Pinecrest Academy Paladins will face off against the Harvester Christian Academy Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Pinecrest Academy has six straight wins, Harvester Christian Academy has eight straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Friday, Pinecrest Academy had just enough and edged Cherokee Christian out 55-53.

Frain's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Michael Lynch was another key player, going 7 of 12 on his way to 16 points and five boards.

Pinecrest Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in five consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Harvester Christian Academy played a tough match on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 67-33 loss at the hands of Creekside Christian Academy. The Hawks were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-16.

Pinecrest Academy pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.2 points per game. As for Harvester Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.

Everything came up roses for Pinecrest Academy against Harvester Christian Academy when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 63-36 win.
