Volleyball Recap: Lincoln College Prep's Luck Changes for the Better on Monday

North Kansas City came into Monday's contest looking for another win against Lincoln College Prep, but Ben Golec wouldn't allow it. The Blue Tigers came out on top against the Hornets by a score of 3-1 on Monday thanks in part to Golec, who had 20 digs and one assist. He has been hot recently, having posted 14 or more digs the last three times he's played.

Lincoln College Prep walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-13, 25-20, 21-25, 25-20.

Lincoln College Prep moved to 15-13-3 with that victory, which also ended their eight-game losing streak. As for North Kansas City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-15-2 record this season.

Lincoln College Prep will challenge Northeast at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. North Kansas City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
