 In other batting news, West Middlesex let  Bowen Briggs and  Tyler Blanton loose on the outfield. Briggs  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances, while  Blanton  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Roman Golub, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Jamestown's loss dropped their record down to 0-6-1. As for West Middlesex, their win bumped their record up to 2-5.
 Jamestown will head out on the road to  face off against  Wilmington at 4:15  p.m.  on Monday. As for West Middlesex, they will look to defend their home field  on Monday against Sharpsville at 4:00  p.m. Sharpsville is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 7.1  runs per game  this season.
