St. Croix Central was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight  defeat. They came up short against  the Altoona Railroaders, falling  8-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Railroaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  7-1  on Tuesday.
St. Croix Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Altoona, the  victory was  the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-5.
