O'Neal stacked a 17th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They blew past South Wake 53-30. The team accrued 43 points in the first half and coasted on those for the win.
Trinity Christian proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 39) but on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged Cape Fear Christian Academy out 40-37. The win made it back-to-back wins for Trinity Christian.
O'Neal's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game. As for Trinity Christian, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
Everything came up roses for O'Neal against Trinity Christian when the teams last played last Wednesday as the squad secured a 71-27 victory. With O'Neal ahead 42-13 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
