The Parkway Center City Bulldogs lost against the MAST Charter II Voyagers back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Parkway Center City fell 63-53 to MAST Charter II.
When it comes to explaining why Parkway Center City lost, one person who can't be blamed is Israel Mckinley. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that Mckinley pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Dock Brown, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Parkway Center City bumped their record down to 6-9 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for MAST Charter II, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.
Parkway Center City will head out on the road to square off against Liguori Academy at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Liguori Academy is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for MAST Charter II, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Martin Luther at 3:15 p.m. Martin Luther comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
