After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Briar Woods, Loudoun County was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They never let the Dominion Titans get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-9 last Wednesday.

Loudoun County got a big performance out of Brady Shaw, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Jacob Martin, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Loudoun County hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive matchups.

Loudoun County's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Dominion, they dropped their record down to 2-4 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Loudoun County will host Heritage at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Dominion, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against John Champe at 6:30 p.m. The Knights' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Titans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
