After a string of four wins, Kingston's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 63-50 to the Inter-City Baptist Chargers. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 271st, while the Chargers are ranked 87th).

Kingston lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Peyton Harrington, who went 5-for-11 to rack up 12 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. Another player making a difference was Austin DeRoseau, who shot 50% from the field on his way to 14 points in addition to six boards and three blocks.

Kingston's defeat dropped their record down to 18-7. As for Inter-City Baptist, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 25-3.

Kingston does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Inter-City Baptist, they will face off against Fowler on Thursday. One thing working in Fowler's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight matches.
