The Folsom Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Del Oro Golden Eagles at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. The last three games Folsom has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
 On Thursday, Folsom had just enough and edged Granite Bay out  6-4.
  Raygan Mercado made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing seven innings while giving up just two earned  (and two unearned) runs off   nine  hits. Mercado has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in eight consecutive pitching appearances. Mercado was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  CeCe Geier was  excellent,  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances with two  RBI and a  double.
 Meanwhile,  there's no place like home for Del Oro, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Tuesday. They came out on top against Rocklin by a score of  8-5  on Thursday.
  Ava Messina 2025 looked comfortable as she  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Abby Davidson 2025, who  went 2-for-3 with a  home run, two  stolen bases,  and three  runs.  Morgan Golightly 2024 was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-4.
 The  win  got Folsom back to even at 12-12. As for Del Oro, their victory bumped their record up to 7-17.
