Vermillion waltzed into their game on Monday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Canton C-Hawks 71-39. The Tanagers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 20 points or more this season.

Vermillion's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.4 points over those games. As for Canton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-18 record this season.

Vermillion will face off against Parker at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Vermillion is facing Parker at the right time seeing as Parker is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. Canton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
