Lake Region Christian fell 41-34 to Cambridge Christian on Monday. Lake Region Christian lost against Cambridge Christian in their previous head to head on Friday, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 42-23 score last time.
Lake Region Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Annalis Benson, who scored ten points along with seven steals. Those seven steals set a new season-high mark for her. Aleah DeVries was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with three steals.
Lake Region Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Cambridge Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
Lake Region Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Prior Lake Christian at 4:00 p.m. on January 9th. As for Cambridge Christian, they will be playing at home against Immanuel Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
