The Walled Lake Western Warriors were the 60-51 winners over the Milford Mavericks when they previously met last month. On Friday? They had no such luck. Walled Lake suffered a grim 37-17 defeat to Milford. That's the fewest points the Warriors have scored all year.
Walled Lake's loss pushed them down to 5-11. Milford's victory brought them up to 4-11.
Walled Lake will take on Lakeland on Tuesday. Walled Lake is at home for the contest, a silver lining they hope will compensate for their disadvantage in the MaxPreps rankings. As for Milford, they will face off against South Lyon on Tuesday. The Mavericks aren't expected to win, but seeing as the odds didn't stop them this last game, maybe the team has another upset up their sleeve.
