On Friday Rogue River take on Illinois Valley at 7:00 PM. Rogue River come in off of four low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.
Rogue River took a serious blow against Glide last Friday, falling 8-64. The state rankings had actually given Rogue River a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Illinois Valley, and their game last Friday only extended their streak of losses to four. They were given a punishing 7-52 loss at the hands of Bandon.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
