A Plus Academy is 0-5 against Madison since October of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The A Plus Academy Knights will head out on the road to face off against the Madison Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully A Plus Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up four on Friday.
A Plus Academy fell victim to Whitney's stalwart defense and couldn't make it onto the board. They had to suffer through a rough 85-0 loss at the hands of the Wildcats. While losing is never fun, A Plus Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 1129th, while Whitney is ranked 294th).
Meanwhile, Madison got the win against Life Oak Cliff on Thursday by a conclusive 52-30. The result was nothing new for Madison, who have now won three contests by 22 points or more so far this season.
Madison's victory bumped their season record to 3-4 while A Plus Academy's defeat dropped theirs to 2-6.
A Plus Academy took a serious blow against Madison in their previous matchup back in October of 2022, falling 41-0. Can A Plus Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
