Softball Recap: Waupun Wins Going Away Against West Salem

Waupun barely beat West Salem the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors blew past the Panthers 14-1 on Saturday. Considering the Warriors have won six contests by more than nine runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Waupun has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for West Salem, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waupun will take on Hamilton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Salem, they will venture away from home to challenge Luther at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
