Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Frankfort). They took down the Eldorado Eagles 66-50 on Wednesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Redbirds as it spelled an end to their eight-game losing streak.

Despite the defeat, Eldorado had strong showings from Maddex Rash, who went 7 for 12 on his way to 17 points and seven boards, and Jordan Jones, who posted eight points. Jake Phelps was another key player, putting up 11 points and six rebounds.

Frankfort's victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-12. As for Eldorado, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-10.

Frankfort didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 49-47 defeat against Anna-Jonesboro on the 17th. As for Eldorado, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 39-35 loss against Edwards County on the 17th.
