Torin Wolf Delivers Best Effort of Season
Torin Wolf produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Minarets to the win on Friday. Wolf threw for 332 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.4% of his passes, and also rushed for 79 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He also made an appearance on special teams (luckily for Minarets): his a 47-yard strike wound up winning them the game.
The victory for Minarets keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Wolf and Minarets will look to defend their home field on Friday against Liberty at 7:00 p.m.

Davian Stephenson's big game helped extend Chowchilla's winning streak to three on Friday. Stephenson turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 54 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 28 yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble, making five total tackles, and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception.
Chowchilla pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. Stephenson's next game is against Fowler on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.
