After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Boulder, Northglenn was happy to have turned things around  on Friday. They snuck past the Adams City Eagles with  a  40-35 win. That's more bragging rights for the Norsemen, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
 Northglenn found their leader in sophomore  Evelynn Jaimes, who  posted 17 points.
 Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Faduma Shongolo, who  scored nine  points and six  boards. The dominant performance also gave  Shongolo a new career-high in  steals (two). Another player making a difference was  Berenice Torrecillas, who  put up six points and three  steals.
Northglenn's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Adams City, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost five of their last six matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record  this season.
 Looking ahead, Northglenn will head out to  square off against Westminster  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Adams City, they will host Gateway  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
