Cardinal O'Hara was led to victory by Gavin Johnson and Kels Ivey. Johnson scored 20 points along with nine rebounds, while Ivey scored 19 points along with five rebounds and three blocks. The game was Johnson's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cannon Dotson, who scored nine points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Lewis J. Bennett's defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-6. As for Cardinal O'Hara, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-5.
