A well-balanced attack led Calvary Academy over Ocean County Christian Academy in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Calvary Academy enjoyed a cozy 62-44 victory over Ocean County Christian Academy. The victory was just what Calvary Academy needed coming off of a 68-42 loss in their prior game.
Caleb Arleth continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 33 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Caiden Young, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, Bethel Baptist Academy came up short against Somerset Bible Baptist Christian Academy on Thursday and fell 60-48.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Zahyir Davis, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted nine or more rebounds the last six times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Bobby Konstantinidis, who scored seven points along with three steals.
Calvary Academy's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Bethel Baptist Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
