The Miller Falcons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their seventh straight loss. They were outmatched by Trimble on the road and fell 57-20. Miller lost against Trimble in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 45-29 score last time.
Miller's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-8. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 14.3 points per game. As for Trimble, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
Miller won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Grove City Christian at 7:30 p.m. on December 19th. Hopefully Grove City Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 last Tuesday. Trimble will be home for the holidays to greet Eastern at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Eastern comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
