The Van-Far Indians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 16th straight loss. They fell 40-30 to Wellsville-Middletown. Van-Far has not had much luck with Wellsville-Middletown recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the loss, Van-Far still got an impressive performance from Mckenna Engh-hoffman, who scored six points.
Van-Far's loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Wellsville-Middletown, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Van-Far will take on South Shelby at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully South Shelby focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Tuesday. As for Wellsville-Middletown, they will be playing at home against Bowling Green at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
