It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 59-9, which was the final score in Iredell's's tilt against Frost on Thursday.
Brenda Manrriquez continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Frost, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 14 steals. The match was Manrriquez's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brynna Banks, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 16 rebounds.
Iredell's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Frost, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
Iredell will square off against Dawson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Dawson's defense has only allowed 28 points per game this season, so Iredell's offense will have their work cut out for Iredell. As for Frost, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Hubbard at 6:00 p.m. Hubbard will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1390th, while Frost is ranked 323rd).
