The Lafayette Commodores lost against the West Point Green Wave back in September of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Lafayette was outmatched by West Point on the road and fell 42-3. Lafayette has struggled against West Point recently, as their contest on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Nick Thompson threw for 156 yards on 13 of 22 attempts. Makyi Reed jones was his top target, picking up 60 receiving yards.
Lafayette's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for West Point, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-3 record this season.
Lafayette does not have any more games scheduled as of now. West Point also has no future games currently scheduled.
