The Chamblee Bulldogs lost against the Decatur Bulldogs back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Chamblee was outmatched by Decatur on the road and fell 67-36. Chamblee has struggled against Decatur recently, as their match on Tuesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Chamblee's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Octavius Gresham, who scored 21 points, and Eli Starr who scored eight points along with seven rebounds.
Chamblee struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only two offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Chamblee's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Decatur, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home.
Chamblee will take on Cardozo in a holiday battle at 3:30 p.m. on December 22nd at. As for Decatur, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Mays at 3:30 p.m. on December 16th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Georgia (Mays is ranked 21st, while Decatur is ranked 38th).
