Tamarac has gone a perfect 10-0 against Waterford-Halfmoon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Bengals will welcome the Fordians at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Tamarac has eight straight victories, Waterford-Halfmoon has seven straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
If Tamarac beats Waterford-Halfmoon with ten runs on Monday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Bengals beat Saratoga Central Catholic on Friday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 10-3. The result was nothing new for the Bengals, who have now won eight matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Erin Lee made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed six innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, Mihaly Blake was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run was her first of the season. Cameron McClurg was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.
Tamarac hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Saratoga Central Catholic struck out seven times.
Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Waterford-Halfmoon's offense. They came up short against Stillwater on Friday, falling 16-0.
Tamarac's win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average this season. As for Waterford-Halfmoon, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.
Tamarac took their win against Waterford-Halfmoon when the teams last played back in April by a conclusive 21-0 score. Do the Bengals have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Fordians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
