It's playoff time, and Ider had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Skyline Vikings on Friday. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 18 matches by six runs or more this season.

Ider's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 31-14-2. As for Skyline, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 22 of their last 24 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-30 record this season.

Ider didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 17-1 win against Woodville on the 25th. As for Skyline, they have also already played their next matchup, an 18-3 victory against Valley Head on the 25th.
