They took a serious blow against Amboy/LaMoille/Ohio on Saturday, falling 62-7. Flanagan/Woodland's defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.
Payton Quaintance threw for 33 yards while completing 100% of his passes. Connor Reed was his top target, picking up 33 receiving yards. On the ground, Kesler Collins rushed for 61 yards and a touchdown.
Flanagan/Woodland's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Amboy/LaMoille/Ohio, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
Flanagan/Woodland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Amboy/LaMoille/Ohio will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Polo. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Illinois (Polo is ranked fourth, while Amboy/LaMoille/Ohio is ranked first).
