The Central Jaguars can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They snuck past Calvary Christian Academy with a 50-46 victory. The win was just what Central needed coming off of a 65-39 defeat in their prior match.
Kaden Ellison was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points. Another player making a difference was Carson Baxley, who scored 13 points along with four steals.
Central's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-7. As for Calvary Christian Academy, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-3.
Central will be playing in front of their home fans against Flomaton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge West Florida Baptist Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully West Florida Baptist Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 last Saturday.
