While losing is never fun, Brownfield can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1011th, while Coahoma is ranked 469th).
Brownfield's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kk Fininen, who scored 9 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Maya Martinez, who scored 9 points.
Brownfield has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Coahoma, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.
Brownfield has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Sunray at 6:00 p.m. on December 8th. Sunray is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Coahoma, they will take on Idalou at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
