After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Brevard, Pisgah was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They breezed by the Enka Jets at home to the tune of 49-14. With the Bears ahead 35-14 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Aaron Clark was the offensive standout of the contest as he rushed for 33 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 164 yards while completing 90% of his passes.
William Parham and Logan Trantham certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Parham picked up 166 receiving yards and a touchdown, while Trantham threw for 173 yards and a touchdown on only ten passes. Parham got the majority of those yards when he pulled down a pass and and took off for a gain of90 yards.
Pisgah's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1. As for Enka, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
Pisgah will head out to square off against Hampton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Enka, they will be playing at home against Rosman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
