Elkhart has gone a perfect 6-0 against Warsaw recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Lions will take on the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Elkhart will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Elkhart is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Northridge as they made off with an 11-2 win. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by seven runs or more this season.

Addison Reid was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. Fionna Topolski was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Warsaw posted their closest victory since May 9th on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out Goshen 8-7. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Warsaw got a massive performance out of Bayleigh Sleeth, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI Sleeth has posted since May 3rd. Raegan Robinson also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Elkhart's record is now 16-12. As for Warsaw, their record now sits at 9-15.

Friday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Elkhart hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .353. However, it's not like Warsaw struggles in that department as they've averaged .327. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Elkhart took their victory against Warsaw in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 19-0 score. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
