Franklin had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 11-5 margin over the Kenosha Bradford Red Devils. The result was nothing new for the Sabers, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

Franklin's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Kenosha Bradford, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Franklin beat the Red Devils by a score of 11-6 later that day.
