Last Friday, Henrietta came up short against Iowa Park and fell 62-54. Henrietta has struggled against Iowa Park recently, as their matchup on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Jacksboro pushed their score all the way to 56 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 71-56 bruising from Iowa Park. Jacksboro's defeat continues an unfortunate trend for the team, making it three in a row.
Despite the defeat, Jacksboro had strong showings from Eli Jonas, who scored 16 points along with two steals, and Luke Sams, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds. That's the first time this season that Jonas scored 15 or more points. Cannon Valenzuela was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Henrietta has not been sharp recently, as they've lost ten of their last 13 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Jacksboro, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.
