They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 47-23 walloping at the hands of Lincoln. Lakeview Centennial was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-13.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lincoln to victory, but perhaps none more so than Grace Spencer, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds. Spencer is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Jada Patterson, who scored 11 points along with three steals.
Lakeview Centennial has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-9 record this season. As for Lincoln, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-3.
Lakeview Centennial will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against South Oak Cliff at 9:00 a.m. on December 28th. Lincoln won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Tyler Legacy at 10:30 a.m. on December 28th. Tyler Legacy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 250th, while Lincoln is ranked 67th).
