The Roosevelt Eagles and the Wall Hawks squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Roosevelt Eagles had to settle for second. They took a serious blow against the Hawks, falling 35-6. Roosevelt's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Wall can attribute much of their success to Luke Kemp, who rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown. Kemp was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 69 yards. Nathan Pepper was another key contributor, rushing for 100 yards and two touchdowns.
Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Wall, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-2.
Roosevelt does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Wall will face off against Canadian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Canadian is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
