The Thief River Falls Prowlers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took down Menahga 92-76. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Caleb Rosendahl continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 47 points along with four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Thief River Falls' points. Gannon Zutz was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for Thief River Falls and bumps their season record up to 5-11. As for Menahga, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-11.
Thief River Falls will head out on the road to face off against the Chargers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Goodridge/Grygla knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 22 games -- so hopefully the Prowlers like a good challenge. As for Menahga, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Pirates at 7:30 p.m. Verndale is no doubt hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses.
