After a string of five wins, Thornton's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 71-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mountain View Mountain Lions.
Despite the loss, Thornton still got an impressive performance from Clayton Jones, who shot 4-for-4 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 22 points and 14 boards. That was a full 37.3% of Thornton's points, marking the tenth time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Andrew Danso, who went 6 for 7 en route to 16 points.

Mountain View has already played their next contest, a 71-42 win against Northridge on the 17th.
