It was a good run, but The Silver Valley Trojans unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 27-16 to Walnut.
Walnut can attribute much of their success to Demetrius Stampley, who rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown.
Silver Valley's loss dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Walnut, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season.
Silver Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Walnut will head out on the road to face off against Los Amigos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Los Amigos is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
