The Lafayette Christian Academy Knights put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat St. Martinville 73-33 at home. The result was nothing new for Lafayette Christian Academy, who have now won three contests by 21 points or more so far this season.
Despite the loss, St. Martinville still got an impressive performance from Makharee Narcisse, who scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was Skylar Frelix, who scored 9 points.
Lafayette Christian Academy's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.3 points per game. As for St. Martinville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
Lafayette Christian Academy's homestand continues as they prepare to take on West Feliciana at 7:00 p.m. on December 11th. West Feliciana will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Louisiana Rankings (they are ranked 192nd, while Lafayette Christian Academy is ranked third). St. Martinville's road trip will continue as they head out to face Thibodaux at 6:00 p.m. on December 14th.
