The Rainier Christian Mustangs lost against the Northwest Yeshiva Lions back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Rainier Christian fell 32-20 to Northwest Yeshiva. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Rainier Christian has scored all season.
Rainier Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Luci Ramey, who scored 11 points.
It was another big night for Paulina Gamel, who scored 15 points for Northwest Yeshiva. That makes it six consecutive games in which Gamel has scored at least a third of Northwest Yeshiva's points. Rose Clayman was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Rainier Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Northwest Yeshiva, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rainier Christian will take on Auburn Adventist at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Northwest Yeshiva won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Concordia Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 10th.
