Waiakea will look to defend their home turf on Saturday against Kea'au at 1:00 PM. Waiakea are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the game prepared for a fight.
After a dominant victory in their match two weeks ago, Waiakea were humbled last week. They suffered a grim 7-41 defeat to Konawaena.
Meanwhile, after having lost a blowout to Konawaena in their previous contest, Kea'au were happy to find some success. Kea'au were able to grind out a solid win over Hawaii Prep, winning 22-10.
Kea'au's victory lifted them to 1-2 while Waiakea's loss dropped them down to 2-1. We'll find out if Kea'au can add another positive mark to their record or if Waiakea can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Kea'au's step.
