Lodi have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They will square off against Secaucus at 7:00 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Lodi have been struggling to pick up a win, with their matchup against Pompton Lakes last Saturday making it three winless games in a row. Lodi suffered a grim 7-28 defeat to Pompton Lakes. Lodi were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-21.
Meanwhile, Secaucus found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 13-46 punch to the gut against Waldwick/Midland Park. The state rankings had actually given Secaucus a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
