Heritage Academy won the last time they faced Horizon Honors and things went their way on Wednesday too. Heritage Academy walked away with a 10-7 victory over Horizon Honors. Winning may never get old, but the Heroes sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Sieana Soltero was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She pitched seven innings while giving up four earned (and three unearned) runs off 12 hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going 3-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most hits she has posted since March 3rd.
In other batting news, Savana Soltero was incredible, firing off two home runs and five RBI while going 2-for-4. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Gloriann Blanco was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
Heritage Academy pushed their record up to 12-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
