Baseball Recap: O'Dea Comes Up Short

After flying high against Central Kitsap on Tuesday, O'Dea came back down to earth. The Fighting Irish fell just short of the Mount Vernon Bulldogs by a score of 4-2 on Saturday.

O'Dea's loss dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Mount Vernon, the win (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 22-4.

While O'Dea had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
