Adding to the longest winning streak in Hoosier this week, Tipton beat Oak Hill 56-2. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
West Lafayette and Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran played the closest game in the league this week, with West Lafayette eventually emerging with a 25-21 victory. Maurice Woodard ran for 185 yards in the win.
Tipton's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Austin Hooker threw for 200 and 3 touchdowns and NATE HEIN had 72 yards receiving. On the ground HEIN contributed 237 yards. BRODY DELL helped Tipton's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 64 yards.
Aaron Tolle's team's dynamic duo of Hooker and HEIN proved tough for the Golden Eagles to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. DELL helped Tipton's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 64 yards.
He went 9-9 with 0 interceptions.
HEIN was a force in the backfield as the Blue Devils bested Oak Hill.
West Lafayette's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Red Devils feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Parker Ronchetto has thrown for 2,425 yards and 30 touchdowns this season, while Brandon Watt has 17 catches for 671 yards.
The Red Devils' Ronchetto is a mere 71 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season. Ronchetto has rushed for 929 yards on 148 carries so far this year.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Rensselaer Central takes on Tipton. At the moment, the Bombers are in second, while the Blue Devils are in fourth.
Tipton took down Bud Ozmun's team 56-2 last week, the largest margin of any game. Hooker ran for 48 yards during the win.
