Baseball Recap: Lowry Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Lowry lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Wooster, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Saturday's matchup. The Buckaroos never let the Colts get on the board and left with an 8-0 win on Saturday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Buckaroos as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Erick Valencia was incredible, going 2-for-4 with five RBI and one triple. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Manny Herrera was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Lowry's win bumped their record up to 2-22-1. As for Wooster, with the defeat, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-7.

Lowry will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Colts: the pair will be back at it again later today.
