Conotton Valley had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Tuscarawas Central Catholic on Thursday. The Rockets never let the Saints get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. Considering the Rockets have won ten matchups by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Conotton Valley got a massive performance out of Garrett Reiter, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. That's the most runs Reiter has posted since back in April. Zack Putnam was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Conotton Valley's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-8. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Tuscarawas Central Catholic, they are on a 39-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-20.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Conotton Valley will be taking part in a tournament against Catholic Central at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Crusaders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.36 runs per game on average), something the Rockets will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Tuscarawas Central Catholic, they will welcome Claymont at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
