The Glendale Vikings lost against the Curwensville Golden Tide back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Glendale fell 55-46 to Curwensville.
Davis Fleming continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Curwensville, scoring 27 points along with seven assists. The game was Fleming's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Parker Wood, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and four blocks.
Glendale now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Curwensville, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.
Glendale will finish 2023 at home by hosting Williamsburg at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Curwensville won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Bucktail at 7:30 p.m. on December 22nd. Bucktail will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 581st, while Curwensville is ranked 275th).
